Recent Continuing Medical Education

After leaving clinical practice, Mr Porter undertook a programme of continuing medical education (CPD), with the objectives of keeping up-to-date with his specialised medical interests, keeping up-to-date with the law in relation to personal injury and preparing for revalidation.

Mr Porter holds the Bond Solon Certificate of Medical Reporting: Civil Procedure Rules Part 35. He has passed the examinations in Law and Practice, Excellence in Report Writing and Cross Examination, required for the award of the Cardiff University/Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate and has been awarded the certificate. Mr Porter revalidated with the GMC in October of 2014 and in October of 2020. GMC rules require 50 hours of CPD per year.
